Terms & Conditions

Some Portugalheart’s Terms & Conditions, can be negotiated depending on the situation and under a direct contact.  This site is property of the Portugalheart, gifs, that manages it from its headquarters in Caldas da Rainha - Portugal. Visitors/Users are responsible for the fulfilment of the laws applied in their countries, concerning websites’ use and access. 

Register
 
To
register yourself, you just have to fill the register form, where you will be able to choose a password or use the one we will supply you by email. From the moment you become a registered customer, you can easy login inserting your email and password, automatically appearing your personal information.

Privacy and Security
 
In order to improve site’s functionality and adequate it to customers’ needs, Portugalheart team, will automatically store, in a safe system, their information. This information is never supplied to external entities, being exclusively used in the pursuing of negotiations/contacts with customer.
Your email will be used, for example, to send order notifications, answering to your questions and comments and sending the newsletter.
  
Your “personal information” can be managed in “my account”, after the login. Having an account and password guarantees confidentiality and that only you will be able to make shoppings and manage within your account.
Portugalheart is protected through a security system, not having shunting line problems or information breaking while customers are using it. The server’s software encrypts all data, to guarantee total protection and privacy to customers’ transactions. Portugalheart guarantees that the data are not violated nor visualized, while it is being used.
 
Payments are assured by an external entity (Paypall), which generates and processes Portugalheart’s customers’ payments.
   

Orders & Special Requests
At Portugalheart, you can find some Atlantis Crystal, Vista Alegre and Spal products. If you wish others from their range, please send an email to info@portugalheart.pt 
This products can be p
ersonalized (engraving or inscriptions). 

Shopping Basket
It is where all the products you selected are kept until you conclude the shopping process. Here you can easily modify quantity and erase a product if you like. In case you don’t remember the product you have chosen, you can click over it to see its “file”.
After have seen your Shopping Basket, if you want you can “Continue Shopping”.
If you log out, the items won’t be kept.
 

Shopping Process
 
You can pick up the products you like through the categories in the “Our Products” or through our gift suggestion at  “Occasions”. Also you can use search criteria in “advanced research” (free text, category, subcategory and price intervals), to select what you are looking for.
 
You can order a single product or several.

At products’ pages you will find some specifications, so that you learn more about each product, and easily make your decision to “buy”.  When you click on “buy” button, the selected products will be placed on your Shopping Basket, so that you are able to finish the shopping process and print a receipt.  If you realise any difference in products values, please contact us.
 
After concluded your order, you will receive a confirmation email. As soon as Portugalheart receive your payment confirmation, your order and invoice will be sent.
    

Prices
 
Prices at Portugalheart  include IVA, but this value is presented in the Shopping Basket.  According to Portuguese and European Union trade legal terms, all customers invoiced within European Union, must pay taxes concerning items bought in this region. To all companies' orders (except for Portugal), a credit concerning the IVA value can be made, if the vat number is valid, Iva won't be charged to customers that are not invoiced in this region, but may have to pay taxes according to their countries' taxes laws.

Payment
At Portugalheart you can pay using credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), through Paypall or making a bank transference.

So that we can send your order as soon as possible, we request that you send us the transference receipt with the order reference, using this email info@portugalheart.pt or the fax: 262 838 463.
  
The amount that customers’ bank charges for transferences, is customers’ responsibility.
  
Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
Credit Card payments are assured by an external entity and platform – Paypall, that generates and processes Portugalheart’s customers’ payments.
PayPal (property of eBay Company) is the most well-known online payment system. To benefit of Paypal’s service, you can create an account or only use it to make Portugalheart payment without register.
When you chose to pay using Credit Card, you will enter Paypal’s safe payments site. If you are already a Paypal’s customer, you will be able to introduce your account data and proceed with payment. In the case you are not a PayPal Customer, you will have to insert your personal information.
 
After concluding payment, you will back to Portugalheart’s site.
If is not possible to satisfy your order, PAYPAL will make a paid value restitution or keep the amount as a credit for a future shopping.
Paypall allows people to shop without giving their credit card data, at thousand of international companies that already use this system. If you like you can consult all your payments at any time. You can use more than one card.
 
Paypal is a tested payment system, with more than 50.000.000 users all over world.

Transport and Delivery
 
To orders’ value it is added the shipping cost, which is presented during the shopping process.
 
Orders are sent by Express Mail.
The ordered items with stock will be sent up to 7 working days after the order payment confirmation. Whenever the ordered items have no stock (big quantities and/or personalized items) the delivery date will be agreed with customers. 
Whenever customers can’t receive an order, the mailman will leave a notification on their mail box, so that they can pick up the order within 3 days on the nearest post office. After this period, the order will be sent back to Portugalheart. To receive it customer has to make another shipping payment.

Devolutions and Exchanges
 
A devolution is not accepted unless the product has some defect stated as Portugalheart's responsibility. Or either if you are delivered a damaged package. In this case you should state that to the delivery man and contact us immediately.
  
The exchange can always be made if items are presented as in the acquisition conditions and within the established period (1 month, after the invoice date). The exchanges can only be made for an item with the same or superior value and never for money. However, items that where specially made and/or personalized, cannot be exchanged.
Concerning Spal, Atlantis Crystal or Vista Alegre items, their exchange will only be accepted if they were acquired through Portugalheart.
Whenever an exchange is made, the customer will be responsible for the costs of transportation, except if the exchange is Portugalheart's responsibility.
Between November 15th and January 8th exchanges are not accepted.
The devolutions and exchanges items must be sent to Portugalheart with its invoice and in their original package.
